I have recently started working as a PhD student at Max Planck Institute for Informatics, under supervision of Prof. Dr. Bernt Schiele. My current research revolves around finding ways to explain how deep networks function, while also looking for explicit design choices that can make them more interpretable. Previously I obtained my Master’s in Visual Computing from Saarland University. I also worked as a research assistant (Hiwi) at the same department, advised by Dr. Moritz Böhle and Sukrut Rao.
I really enjoy teaching (checkout the teaching section below). I love it so much that my dream is to become a professor. So you already know what I’m gonna be doing for the next decade (PhD, Post-doc, Tenure).
When not behind my desk, I like trying new sports! Currently focusing on getting good at Volleyball. But from Ultimate Frisbee to Trampoline, I just enjoy trying out new things.
